In 2010 Hashigo Zake wanted to provide a service to customers who liked to purchased some of our rare and special products to take away. So we applied for and were granted an off-licence. And as an extension of that we started the Cult Beer Store for customers over the web.

In 2020 the cost of renewing that off-licence had become so high that retaining it wasn't justified by the small amount of off-premise trade that we were doing.

However we do still have things other than beer for sale and so we're reopening the Cult Beer Store for other purposes.
