Barrel-Aged beers can be hard to find. First there is the barrel, which normally needs to be acquired from a vineyard or distillery. These can be pricey, and are increasingly hard to find. Then there is the time it takes to barrel-age a beer. This can be a few months or a few years. Barrel-Aging has been known to produce some of the more complex and enjoyable (and expensive) beers around, but it's often worth the wait (and the price).
