Green Flash are another brewery helping to forge San Diego’s reputation as a brewing centre to rival Portland and Sonoma County. They pride themselves on their non-adherence to traditional guidelines, typified by their radical West Coast IPA.
The name Green Flash refers not to a lime-clad superhero, but to the optical phenomenon that occurs just after sunset or just before sunrise, when a green spot is visible for a moment above the sun.
